Terrawise specialises in piling, foundations and civil engineering projects in regulated sectors across the UK, with a focus on rail and power.

HURST Corporate Finance advised James Crossen, Jamie Burrows and Darren Long on the transaction.

This deal substantially increases the ability of Terrawise to compete on a level playing field, with the best in-house rail plant fleet in the country.
James Crossen, Director at Terrawise Construction

Following the transaction James Crossen invested in the newly enlarged Readypower business and joined the Board. In that role Jim helped in growing ReadyPower to the point where it was acquired by the much larger Angel Trains where Jim continued his senior management team.

“I have known the guys at Terrawise since they first started the business in 2006. I have always admired the company as it has been very successful by putting customer service at the heart of everything it does, just like Readypower. Retaining and developing the best people in the industry is key to maintaining Readypower’s first-class client service."
